Discover The Top Four Secrets To Staying Healthy And Well Adjusted

You live your life though your spinal structure and nervous system. It coordinates your conscious reality, and makes your organs work and your body parts move. It has been known for thousands of years that keeping your spine strong, healthy, and well aligned is a key part of leading a long life filled with vitality, energy, and so much more.

Unfortunately, many only care for their spine when it’s yelling at them, screaming at them, that it needs attention. Like anything else, if you don’t put energy into it, it breaks down, and will not serve you well. We have to put energy into our fitness; we have to put energy into our diet. We have to put energy into our relationships and our work, and we have to put energy into our spine if we want it to serve us well and help us stay at our best. To keep your spine strong and healthy you must optimize the spinal structure and the neural behavior.

First and foremost, you want to make sure that there are no obstructions and interferences. Just think about talking on a cell phone when there’s only one bar. Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now? If there’s interference on the line of communication between your brain and the rest of your body, from tension, compression, or obstructions, then your spine can’t work right. And when your spine doesn’t work right, you don’t work right.

Second, you must optimize the responsiveness of your spine and nervous system. Your spine is not an inanimate object. It’s loaded with receptors and nerve endings that respond to the demands of the environment. If your spine and nervous system are slow or unresponsive, it can cause illness or injury. If your system is responsive, your body will be able to make changes rapidly based on environmental demands. Those rapid changes will show up in self-correcting movements that will support your wellness. Your body will be more able to self-heal and self-correct, which can result in fewer injuries and illnesses.

Third, you must develop synergy in your spinal system. Often when people think of fixing their spine, they only think of the bones. There’s so much more to your spinal system than just bones. The bones are passive. Joints and discs are loaded receptors that transduce information on their position and report back to the nerve system. The musculature is the active subsystem of the spine and it constantly acts on the vertebrae to move them and make sure they’re in their proper position. If either the passive part of your spine or the active part of your spine is storing tension and energy, then it won’t share information correctly and there won’t be integration and synergy. You need the bones, muscles, nerves, connective tissue, and ligaments to work synergistically together at all times.

Finally, this brings us to the fourth secret: keep your spine dynamic. When your spine is stuck, then your life is stuck. We don’t want any part of your spinal system holding you hostage. It should be dynamic, adaptive, responsive, and flexible and be able to shift and flow with the ever-changing demands that you put on it.

Remember, strength doesn’t come from feeling nothing. Strength comes from feeling everything and being responsive, flexible, and adaptive. The capacity to make change in the face of daily stresses is what will keep you vital and young and living your life as the best version of yourself. Optimizing the spinal structures is not an event; it’s a process of investing energy into yourself so you can give your best to the world. If you would like to see if we can help you be a better version of yourself and give more to the world by optimizing your spinal structure and neural behavior, it all starts with a simple conversation to discuss your healthcare needs, goals, concerns, and dreams.
