The Chiropractor Boulder Residents Seek For Back Pain

Here at Network Family Wellness Center, we’re proud to say that we’re a leading chiropractor Boulder residents seek when they need pain relief and realignment, and when they’re seeking a better sense of wholeness and wellness. We provide holistic wellness through chiropractic care to adults and children while leading the wellness revolution that has come to the forefront of America. Many people who come to us do not realize the many benefits of a healthy spine and how much spinal care is just as important for children as it is for adults. We see clients every day who come to us for back pain relief and we strive to provide not only care but education to those in need.

Back pain, specifically lower back pain, is one of the leading causes of disability nationwide. In fact, at least 31 million Americans are experiencing lower back pain at any given time. Back pain can be caused by several different things:

  • Sprained ligaments
  • Muscle strains
  • Ruptured discs
  • Irritated joints
  • Sports injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Poor posture
  • Obesity
  • Psychological stress

Chiropractic spinal manipulation is a safe and extremely effective treatment for low back pain. Not only does it reduce pain, but it also decreases your need for prescription pain medication, rapidly advances physical therapy, and requires very few passive therapies such as bed rest.

There are also several things you can do yourself to prevent back pain:

  • Maintain a healthy diet and weight
  • Stay active – avoid a sedentary lifestyle
  • Stretch before exercise
  • Improve your posture
  • Sleep on a mattress that has at least medium firmness
  • Quit smoking
